Whether you are struggling or just need an extra boost, the Academic Support Office (ASO) provides resources to improve your academic performance. Located in the Learning Resource Center (Building V), ASO is designed to assist students with refining and strengthening the academic skills necessary for success at SCU. Advising - Learning Specialist are available to assist you with your concerns and questions related to academic success such as study skills help, time management ideas, anti- anxiety strategies, etc.
Tutoring - Open library, lab and group tutoring services are offered FREE of charge to current SCU students. Tutors are current SCU studetns with high grade point averages. Stop by to receive our tutor schedule and learn more about your options.
Disability Services - SCU adheres to ADA compliance and confidentiality when working with students with a disability. We can assist you with approving. placing accommodations, test proctoring, communicating to faculty and staff, etc.
Scheduling - We can answer any questions about scheduling, including adding/ dropping courses, graduation deadlines, etc.
Referrals - Our office provides necessary referrals for disability testing, personal counseling, and additional services that a student might need assistance with.
